The most magical time of the year is almost here! 2020 has been full of negativity and we wanted to shoo them all away by bringing some early Christmas cheer. Zoë has been looking forward to all the festivities, and although we may have to celebrate a little differently this year, we wanted to continue some of our traditions. First up on Zoë’s list? Writing her letter to Santa!

Filipinos love the Christmas season, and we start celebrating the festivity pretty early in the country. No where else in the world can you hear the tunes of Christmas carols being played as early as September 1, but in the Philippines. You start seeing hints of the season in homes, as families start bringing out their trees and festive baubles.

In the Philippine culture, Christmas is the time for bonding with family, rekindling friendships, sharing meals, and gift-giving. Crate and Barrel Philippines has embraced this spirit, and this year they launched their #ChristmasWithCratePH early for us to enjoy.

Only one week to go ’til Christmas! Would you love to surprise your little ones with a letter delivered straight from the North Pole? Receiving a letter from Santa is definitely something our five-year-old looks forward to every December. Free Printable Letter to Santa

It’s that time of the year again! Fairy lights, holiday wreaths, stockings, presents and carols, it’s no secret that I am a big sucker for the holiday season. I enjoy all the decorating, shopping, wrapping gifts, family dinners and the never ending get-togethers.

Christmas is even more special when I see its magic through the eyes of my little girl. At five years old, Zoë is pretty wise for her age. You can no longer trick her into doing something she doesn’t want to, but talk about Christmas, the elves and Santa Claus, and she’s all ears. We started writing letters to Santa when she turned three, and since then it has become a tradition that she genuinely looks forward to every December.
